Best of Iyengar Samayal Recipes Puliyodarai from Podi

This is best of Iyengar Samayal Recipes Puliyodarai from Podi. If you have free time just keep ready and prepare pulikachal recipe and puliyodharai podi. Pulikachal Mix Ingredients

Tamarind - 150 gms
Dried red chillies - 15
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
salt -  as  required
Nallennai (gingelly oil) - 1 / 2 cup
 
Puliyodharai Podi Ingredients


Dried red chillies - 15 to 20
Coriander seeds - 3 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Asafoetida - a small piece

Puliyotarai mix Ingredients
Boiled loose rice
pulikachal
Puliyodharai Podi
Turmeric powder
Nallennai (gingelly oil) Green karuveppilai
Groundnut
Dill
Kadali Paruppu
Uluttam paruppu
Cashew nuts
White sesame


Iyengar Samayal Recipes Puliyodarai from Podi Preparation

How to prepare pulikachal for Puliyodarai Recipe

Soak the Tamarind in water for about 1 hour and filter the essence. 

Keep a thick bottomed pan in the stove and add gingelly oil and fry dried red chillies.

Keep it aside and fry the mustard seeds and cumin seeds then add the tamarind water and let it to boil.

Keepe the stove in sim and leave it to boil for 10 min then add the raw Fenugreek seeds with the mixture.

Let it to boil until the oil separates. The pulikachal recipe is now ready for our best of Iyengar Samayal Recipes preparation. 

You can store the pulikachal mix in a clean air tight container for about six months.



How to Prepare Puliyodharai Podi for Puliyodarai Recipe

Fry the fenugreek seeds without adding oil and keep aside

Fry the asafoetida by adding little oil then add the chillies, coriander seeds and fry well.

Finely powder the fried Puliyodharai Podi ingredients in a mixer grinder by adding Turmeric powder.

How to Mix Iyengar Samayal Recipes Puliyodarai from Podi

Take the boiled rice in a big container and spread it. Then add the fresh curry leaves, turmeric powder and 2tsp gingelly oil on the rice and let it to cool.

Then add the prepared pulikachal, Puliyodharai powder and salt as per your taste. Mix well with out breaking the rice.

Then add the fried Groundnut, Dill, kadali Paruppu, uluttam paruppu, cashew nuts and white sesame with the rice.

The delicious Tamil Iyengar Puliyodarai Recipe is ready. Add some ghee while serving. Prepare and enjoy the taste of the recipe.

 You can also add the fried sesame powder to get excellent flavor of Iyengar Samayal Recipes.

Note: Salt, sugar, pickles and turmeric juice kept in silver and plastic container are very harmful to our health. Keep these ingredients in a glass container.
